We are extremely happy to announce the opening of our restaurant, Canary & Kitchen in April 2023.
Situated in the heart of Bromsgrove’s up-and-coming, bustling bar and foodie scene of Aston Fields, our new opening will offer a unique, intimate and creative dining experience for our guests.
For those of you who don’t already know us, husband and wife team Mike and Antonia, are the heart and soul of Canary & Kitchen. Canary & Kitchen was first born from a play on words about Antonia’s upbringing in the Canary Islands – a ‘Canarian Kitchen’ where food is king and local cuisine does not shy away from punchy flavours from humble ingredients. This is our foundation. This is Canary & Kitchen.
Our History
Mike being a proud Brummie has been influenced by the city in his food, always excited by spices, fragrance and the unusual. Mike had been cooking for several years for family & friends, reaching new ambitious heights in 2019, becoming a MasterChef UK contestant in the 15th series of the popular BBC show. Following this Mike launched his Home Dining business in 2019, which will continue to run alongside our new restaurant.
For guests seeking a unique dining experience, the restaurant offers an intimate, atmospheric, and relaxed setting to enjoy dinner and drinks for up to 8 guests per sitting. We also welcome enquiries regarding exclusive booking of the restaurant.
